    Building a bathroom vanity

To the point now that I am building some bathroom vanities for my barndo. Using my own oak lumber I cut myself and hand picking the pieces for the drawer fronts for character. Lots of work done before it gets to this point but in the end it’s worth it to me.
Here are a few teaser pics. Getting started on some doors this AM.

That's just plain nasty o wood...stack all that up by the gate and I will swing by and take it away for you.

          Beautiful work!

Beautiful wood, and work. What procedure is used to cut the edges ? Im thinking a router but i really don't know.

Drawer fronts look awesome. You will be happy every time you look at this character wood cut from your own oak trees. Good story and great craftsmanship, nice project.

I used a shaper with a 5” panel cutter to cut them. I cut it in one pass and the chips and dust fly. I would be skeptical using a router do do it.

These are beautiful! Glad you incorporated the tree’s imperfections in your designs. Give the pieces lots of character.

Can you show some more pictures of the door details?

I’ll be building a closet in a bathroom and storage in the mudroom in our new house in Montana.

Here she is before the install. It turned out about the way I wanted it,
a simple rustic oak piece. Now on to making a linen closet to go on the left side of it.

Beautiful piece, isn't that lift/dolly handy; mine has the same patina
