It may never bend, but It may deflect, depending on the thickness of the tubing. Braces underneath would help, or you could double that tubing underneath, that would stiffen it plenty.

this.... and if they are welding you can count on it warping a little when they build it... be sure to leave a 1/4 in of wiggle room so its not too tight fit

I never remember to take pics of mine till its dark. Much smaller than described builds here but it will hold a roadie and a 65qt cooler

Met with the shop teacher yesterday. They had to focus on some FFA and Skills projects. He said they will be beginning on the rack shortly. Hopefully within a couple of weeks. I'm not really concerned as I won't need it really until summertime trips to the coast.
