    1953 Bear Polar Longbow Makeover

    I didn't do much for a refinish.
I just did some light sanding to smooth the old gal back out.
Then, a couple coats of clear finish using Krylon Colormaster indoor/outdoor gloss.
I basically just wanted to get a good moisture barrier back on her.

Dressed her back up with a new leather handle wrap, shelf cover, and strike plate.

Of course, she had to have a new string. 12 strand / 3 bundle B50 Dacron.
Gold/Orange/Gold with Yellow/Orange/Yellow acrylic yarn puff silencers.
Set up with a 7.5" brace height.

Super sweet bow Rick. Maybe I ought to send my ‘54 AmbiPolar to you for an updo. Does yours have a particular handshock too?

    Well done Sir.

      Thanks.

I just did this one for a close friend of mine.
Don't really want to get in the habit of doing them a lot. Don't have time. Sorry.

I haven't shot it, so no clue on hand shock.
