7 year old son and I are watching the remake of the magnificent seven right now. He would rank them Young Guns 2, In a Valley of Violence, Hang em High.

My wife gives me the same. I watch Laramie, The Deputy, Cheyenne, Tales of Wells Fargo, Gunsmoke. I know they're not movies but anything John Wayne I will watch.

It’s too hard to pick between any John Wayne, Zane Grey books turned movie, Tom selleck, dances with wolves.

For some reason I really love the few John Wayne’s that co star Dean Martin.

            True Grit
            High plains Drifter

Tombstone is up there, as is nearly every John Wayne western

                      Rio Bravo

I like the movie and it has high sentimental value.

Too many. I probably have 12 tied for the top 3.

                          But….

                          True Grit
                          Unforgiven
                          Open Range

I could give 3 different and be just as satisfied with my picks.

                            Lonesome Dove
                            Magnificent Seven
3:10 to Yuma (the new one)
                            Shane

Not really a best of all time western like above but I recently watched “The Duel “ and it was pretty good for a new western.
