Not close to the Casino, but check out Loggerheads.

    Darrell’s is legit.

    To me, Steamboat is gimmicky.

Only been once but Steamboat Bill's was legit. Atmosphere and food.

Ate at Steamboat Bill's today for lunch. Had Vic and Anthony's in the Nugget last night.

Yep....Darrel’s for the Po Boys. I have eaten at Steam Boat Bill’s a few times. It was good. Pats of Henderson’s has great food.

Mazzens and Luna’s are two of the top eats in LC.

Darrels is good but it’s a dive at the end of the day.

Steamboat Bills is good but quite honestly it is a little overrated.

Ya, I always get my sandwiches to go at Darrel’s.

Darell’s special with spicy Mayo. Jalapeño Zaps, and an Abita amber!

Darrell's for po boys for a Darrell's Special. Pat's in Henderson is good, never ate at the one in Lake Charles. I like Steamboat Bill's, it's good. As mentioned that crawfish etouffee smothered catfish filet is real good. I'll throw out one more you don't think of when you think of Louisiana. We like Tony's Pizza in Lake Charles alot. It's really good. For breakfast cruise on over to Delicious Donuts for some crawfish, cheese and pepper or shrimp, cheese and pepper or some boudin "kalotchies", and that is just how they spelled it.

Luna Grill. Take a minute to admire all the jam band concert posters. Lots of WSMFP! Great food too!

The Pat's in Lake Charles is far better than the one actually in Henderson... In LC, it's a linen napkin/tablecloth kind of place that is serious about fine food... It's not a beer drinking/crawfish juice to the elbows kind of place... But if you want the finest in quality Cajun cuisine, it's second to none and it's served by genuine professionals.

Agree with Pat's, but it still closed from Hurricane. Should be opening this summer.

Steamboat Bill's sucks. Go to OB's for the seafood special Thurs-Sunday. Crawfish, shrimp and your choice of Dungeness or snow crab. Darrells for the poboy and you can add shrimp to the special. I wouldn't go to loggerheads just to eat. Now if they got a band then I'd go eat, drink, n dance. It is on the river so it has nice scenery and it's a clean place. Food is just burgers, pizza, nachos type deal. Rickenjacks and Crying Eagle breweries has good food and great craft beer and sometimes live music. A hidden gem is McFarlins pub. Great food and tons of beer from all over the world as well as irish whiskeys and wines. Its Irishe themed. You can get beer, wine and whiskey flights to sample. You cannot get a bud or Coors or ultra at this place. Real beer only

                              IMHO of course!!
This!! It really is as good as it gets.
