    Bought a Solo Skiff

Well... I was looking into getting a hobie kayak for while now. And let me tell you, it was a pain in the butt. Out of 8 people I contacted through phone calls, txt messages, messenger, and emails, only one contacted me back, but sold it before I could commit.

A freind of mine mentioned a solo skiff so I looked into it. I couldn't find one locally so I expanded my search. Found two in Corpus but couldn't seal the deal. I found one in Houston and brought it home.

It came with a lot of stuff, and was ready to hit the water. $3700 out the door. (Which was the same price range of the hobie kayaks). Looking forward to see how it does!

Any other solo skiffers out there?

Wow, congrats - that's a lot of stuff for that price--

Any thing with a motor has to be better than kayak.

Those solo skiff are cool, but my luck I would get caught in the storm of the century.

The seller told me he would get up to 15mph with him plus gear.

They are cool but be careful. One of my buddies fished a dude out of the water in the middle of the bay in the winter who hit a wave wrong and flipped his over. Had someone not come along it would have been very, very bad.

                      This would be my luck.

I had a buddy that bought one, beats a kayak but don’t go thinking it’s a real boat.

I don't think the one in my pic is the exact same skiff but it's the same type of vessel. It's a little 1 man skiff that is almost like a kayak/skiff hybrid.
