Had three Great Pyrenees dogs chase a big buck through my property/setup this morning!

I've seen them on my game camera a few times, but thought they had moved on a few months ago.

They stayed just out of range. I was also on the ground and did have one turn towards me, but taking down a small pack of Great Pyrenees with a crossbow was going to be dicey!

He was pretty tame really. Very timid and scarred from stem to stern. Kinds felt bad for him

This was my problem. She was chasing everything around my lease. Almost shot her twice. Asked the two local houses and they did not claim her. Finally got to get her to come in and eat. So we brought her home. Problem solved.

Yea..he showed up. Had another dog to catch also. The owner was very apologetic. His runnin buddy, not so much.


He said he had permission from alllll the landowners which was not the case. Brought his "shortest" dogs but was still 3 miles from where he turned out.

On opening weekend.
