    30"+ Axis in Backyard

Just had a nice Axis pushing a doe around. Hard to let these big boys roll but only way to get them beyond 34". Watching him for about 30 minutes with a herd of about 15 and clearly one doe that is close to being ready. Reminds me a little of a bull elk in their mannerisms.

I was guessing about 32ish inches but I'm notorious for being 2-3" off when ground checked so I'll say 30"-31".

If you are a member of Rocksprings hunter/owners site I posted a great video. Sound in background was our Frenchies going nuts. Anytime an animal enters the perimeter they go on full alert.
