That is exactly where I almost died twice. Be careful around there.

Add me to that list. Once fishing the surf, another while in the bay side. Also got taken out twice at the mouth of the Brazos. I had a life jacket on there though.

San Luis claims a few bodies a year it seems. Wear a LF of some sort.

After a little looking, I guess after Surfside city limits is a Freeport address. So you’re probably good.

If you plan to fish San Luis please wear a life vest, and watch the currents. The grass on the backside of San Luis (Galveston side) has done good for me.
