I acquired this Sako Finnlight 300 Win Mag from a TBHer. It was in great shape just some fine surface scratches on the black factory stock. I got bored at home so I decided to remedy that
Removed action and taped off all the rubber grip inserts and anything else I didn’t want paint on. After Wiping it down with alcohol to remove any dirt and grime I hit it with a coat of graphite grey spray paint, ended up with 2 coats of grey before adding the accents.
Using a natural sponge and acrylic craft paints I started with black and randomly hit it throughout the stock. Afterwards I applied the grey to break up the black and finished with the orange to add some accents.
A total of 4 coats of matte clear then one dried I removed the tape and assembled the gun.
