It wonít let me upload pics of the freaking thing from my phone. I plan to hit it with an angle grinder tomorrow and I have liquid nitrogen if needed. Only locksmith I could talk to today wanted $50@ to come today and $375 tomorrow.

With all of the recommendations of grinders, torches and plasma cutters I hope it is gold instead! I can see me burning up a stack of cash plus getting shot by a loaded gun in the process of burning the house down LOL!

Man that safe ain't no toy, bet it's loaded with goodies. If you drilled through it once I'd imagine you can get in, worst case connect the dots with the drill.

That's a nice safe, I have seen one of those before. That whole top comes up out of the floor. I would guess there are pins all the way around, no hinges. You need to get into the lock it's self, or get to cutting all the way around the outside of the lid. That or jack hammer it out of the floor. I have never seen one up close, but have seen the lid removed from one many years ago, but did not pay any attention how the lid was retained in the outer case, I would guess a bunch of pins, which could take a long time to cut all of them.

Spoke with a guy one time that purchase a beautiful home in Colorado for a cheap price. When he moved in, a month later he came home to a big hole in the entryway floor. He said it was 2’x3’
Neighbors thought there was always suspicious activity at the house

Looks similar to this one. Notice the picture of it coming open looks like 3 deadbolts. If you could get below the flange of the tube and cut the tube at the deadbolts you could lift off the top without damaging the contents. Some of these are very deep.

so if you had the key and/or the combo where does that part get used? I see nothing more than some handle hook things and maybe where a beaver tried to eat it?

Combo would have been in the center, handle would have went across the top and connected to the two brackets you can see on the lid.

Here is a drill template a company sells for $85. Says it will work on major floor safes. I would start by trying to mimic that pattern.
