Fair assessment. Pitching will be our undoing in the end. Especially in mid to late June with all the heat.....at least thatís the built in excuse weíve been given all these years.
Swept by the Aís again in Oakland. Pitiful, considering all of about 15K people attended all 3 games combined.

Yeah, everybody knew this team wasnít going to be very good this year. No reason for excitement because theyíre a few games over .500 25 games in. Theyíll probably be out of it by 10+ games by the first of July.

Wish I could stomach hockey and watch the Stars playoff run, but I canít.

It was ugly. Hearn couldn't find the zone. Not sure why Woodward didnt start Mathis. IKF cost Hearn 2 or 3 strike calls. Add in a little league error from Forsythe and thats all she wrote for Hearn. It didnt look like it last night but the kid has good stuff. He will be back.

Overall crap night for sports in the DFW..

Miller probably really wishes he had that 3-1 fastball to Encarnacion back. Heís looked the best he has all year besides that pitch.

Sure could have used one of these runs last night in regulation. Rougy finally found him a dinger. First of the year.

Ended up being a 15-1 rout for the little Rangers last night. Offense came out on fire and didn’t let up, producing a season high 20 hits. Minor pitched a gem as well with a career high 13Ks.

Offense continues to be solid like last night. Pence is really seeing the ball well right now.

5-0 good guys...but still a lot of baseball left.

The Rangers have had some in the past. There was an A-Fraud game that was particularly gruesome. In the old days Toby Error had his share as well. But the Mariner performance today was nasty.

Doing good equals stud?

He was doing good here with an occasional timely HR. Not a real dominant throw em out at second guy but, serviceable.

And FTR Iíd like to have had him back just because he was well liked and his timely HRs.

All the fellas down south need to take a deep breath and relax re: R. Chirinos. I really like the guy. But, he is worth one hot streak per season. I guess he's on that now. Other than that he is a serviceable starter, with tons of character. He'll give it all he's got everyday. But "stud"? Not so much. Remember these days later in the summer.

I've always thought that a team the had Chirinos as its' primary back up would be a helluva team. I still think that. If he's the primary starter, the club has at least one position it could improve. My $0.02.
