I’m not sure what we WON’T see in this game. Correa wasn’t even in the same area code of catching that ball.

LeClerc just doesn’t have the mentality of a closer. A real mental midget. No offense Altuve!

Leclerc has definitely lost his confidence and swagger he had last year. It might be a good idea to pull him out of the closer role for the time being and put him in less stressful situations to get his confidence back. When he gets the confidence back then bring him back to the closer role.

Unreal. Iíll take it though. Crazy game and not without the late drama.
Well, the Rangers are still firmly in control of the Silver Boot with back to back 2 out of 3 games won series.

I still don't get LeClerc as a closer. Trusting in Woodward. But, Shawn Kelley looks more like it to me. We'll see. On to the the toilet by the bay. Good times.

Just keep winning series, somehow.

Oh yeah, hope Gallo can keep some semblance of this early season performance up for the long haul.

I've got no real issue with what Woodward has done so far, but letting a closer walk 4 in the 9th in a save situation is moronic.

Laclerc was one of the best in the game - now he aint. I think he was trying to work him out of it, but dang. That plan obviously didnt work.

Minors are looking very good for a few years down the road for pitching. Right now it's a crap shoot.

Rangers have been plagued with a closer curse since Joe Nathan. Getting solid work from a bullpen arm back to back years seems impossible. Jesse Chavez was a stud last year, this year he couldn't get my sister out. Same with Leclerc, but I do have faith he will get it together, some what anyway.

When and how long was he the best in the game?

He's been up and down his whole short career. He might have had a short run of greatness but nothing where I would have considered him one of the best.

Last year Leclerc pitched in 60 games and had an ERA of 1.56. That is pretty salty.

Its no secret he has had control / walk issues. Last year he cut his walks in half from previous year. This year, not so much.

Mike Minor takes the hill v. A's. We'll see. Hard to split concentration between playoff hockey and 1 of 162 baseball. We'll see...

Today's starter is a rule 5 draft rookie making his first start..should go well.

Taylor Hearn is making his first big league appearance tonight. He's the big hard throwing lefty they got in the Keone Kela trade last season.

Reality is setting in. Guys are playing hard but our pitching isnt gonna cut it. Obviously we cant keep scoring 7+ runs a game in order to win. I just hope they can manage to stay around .500 for the year.
