Shooting archery with my not-yet 3 year ild grandson. I like the traditional Ďleaní and canted bow!

I showed him Papaís bow (my Sarrels takedown recurve) and my wife commented that one day it will be his. I teared up

The Texas memorial says 597 men died July 2-3 fighting at Roundtop and Devils Den. Brave men for sure.

If youíre in north western PA, Allegheny National Forest is amazing, Case Knives is in Bradford and KBar is across the NY border in Olean.

Lots of brave souls those three days for sure on both sides.

We were in south central PA between Bedford and Chambersburg, I kinda skirted the Alleghenyís around Chambersburg.

Also went too the railroaders museum in Altoona, PA and saw horseshoe curve.

We rented a house in Bozeman with a barn and paddock. Our neighbor moved his 2 Corriente bulls into the paddock to eat the grass. They donít respond to yells of ďGig ĎemĒ- maybe Iím saying it wrong?

He said they live banana peels- Iíll try that.

Nice Gettysburg photos Russ. I've been watching some documentaries on the Civil War, the death and destruction is unimagineable. A July battle, and it is said the residents were still putting peppermint oil under their noses that winter to mask the smell of death.

Count your blessings, hug the ones you love, and go out and make it a great day.

This is a poem my son wrote and read to his 2nd grade class after he shot his 1st buck back in November. They let him out of 2nd grade so I guess itís ok to post now.

Those are bullets at the top, and note his rifle resting on the feeder.

I nearly passed out laughing, my bride cringed a little bit..

His teacher must have been a pretty good sport!

Happy Father's Day gang!!

Been meaning to post this up...my son called about 6 weeks ago telling me he wanted to wet a line as he was headed home from TCU completing his Jr year. Well that made my heart swell as Kenny never was into the outdoors like I was as a kid.

Took off Monday the 13th off last month & just had an outstanding day on the water...watching him catch his first large redfish back to back to back was hilarious.

Blessings for all the Dad's today!!

Solo elk hunt today. Didnít see anything, but since I passed 3 grizzly bear caution signs at the trailhead it worked out just as well.

Views of Madison Valley, MT south of Ennis. Hard to believe weíre living here.

First time Iíve posted in this thread but felt the desire to do so. Hereís my view this afternoon. The breeze is in my face, thereís a buffet for any creatures to snack on due to the tear in the feed bag and my laziness to get the alfalfa bale holder up here lol. But looking out across vast miles of hill country land makes me so incredibly grateful for my life and the people in it. Being here fills me with hope for the future and pride for all Iíve accomplished so far. Iím grateful for my family, my friends and for the brothers and sisters I stand side by side with each day I wear the badge.
Also, Iím grateful for all the folks on TBH that remind me how many more folks like me there are. Thanks guys and gals.

Got a good bow sit in Thursday with another limit of doves Friday. 5 dove hunts and 5 limits is my best year for doves.

Ready for some cool weather!
