We took the kayaks out yesterday. It was my brides first paddle and she loved it! Next we will try the bay Saturday and gradually raise then remove the training wheels.

On a side note, the repair work on the Ascend is working out quite nicely.

Haven't been out in ages, so i dusted off the kayak and fished Brushy Creek Lake Park in the afternoon.

About 10 fish total up at the dam end of the park. A couple photos of little ones.. nothing worth measuring.

Very nice! I hope to hit the salty marsh late tomorrow or early Sunday before the rain sets in.

Got out on Lake Travis this AM. Expected some wind, based on the forecast, but it was glassy calm.

Lots of boats and kayaks in the Cypress Creek Park area.

Managed 14 total... most if them between (when I put in at) 730 and 830.

No big bass, best was 16".

Figured out my phone case was blurry after the 1st 8-9 photos, ....

Iíve never stored outside but I would imagine strapped upside down on some sawhorses would work?

We store our 3 coosa hdís in the shop using the kayak rack from academy that stores them on their sides, also add a pool noodle on the rack for extra padding.

If you store on saw horse style rack, better keep them upside down or you will put a crease in it. Better to store on side, or upright.

I usually go off when the blue bonnets start coming up and I have been seeing a few, I was told they have been up here since January. With the lake being full and the river flowing good it is going to be an awesome run this year.

Trolling was the key as well, they tore it up, a lot more productive than casting.

I really don't like fishing in the cold but everyone looks to be having good days so I went out today after work. Was able to scratch one out probably 3 1/2-4lbs
