    Trailer floor replacement ideas

Need to replace my 18' utility trailer floor. W lumber being so high right now, I remembered a buddy's FIL trailer awhile back that I borrowed. He had this 1" thick plastic grid-type stuff. Anyone seen this/know what its called/where to get it?

Rumber is what it’s called. Saltwater slick has one done and got me interested in it. It’s pretty neat. Let us know a price when you figure it out. I’ve got a 16’ I may do

        No sir, thats not it.

Best way I can describe it...

1" thick plastic-type, grid design, with 1" open squares. Prob 1/4" wide between the open squares...

Bit the bullet and had my 16 re-done in treated. New tires too. Should be good for a few years.

Find a mill that cuts old telephone poles and use those.

This Fibregrate stuff looks like a winner. Never rots and is much lighter than wood. Can you share where you bought it?

There used to be a place in Stevenville that made it . We could buy seconds to use in stock trailers. Idk the name but maybe google?

Blackwood is an exceptionally durable trailer deck solution.

                        This seems interesting

Rumber is a once and done floor but you have to have crossmembers on 12" centers for it to be installed. Im not sure what the plastic is you are referring to, maybe something used on porch's/decks? If its just a regular utility trailer for homeowner use(not commercial), regular lumber is hard to beat. I used t flame burn it and seal it when when I sold trailers. Made for a cool looking floor that lasted

This is what I’m going to use when I redo my trailer.
