DFW This Coming Weekend - Need Recommendations

My Wife and I are heading to DFW this weekend for our first getaway without the kids since last Summer.

We have tickets for the PBR at Dickies Arena on Friday, and tickets for the Rangers on Saturday.

We have worn out Pappadeaux for cajun food, and Pappasitos/Uncle Julio's for Tex/Mex.

Any recommendations from the GS in regard to the above?

Wanting to change things up and try new things.

    Thanks in advance!

                    Tex Mex-Pulidos or Dos Molinas

                    Upscale/wild game- Bonnell's

Great atmosphere at Joe T's but the food lacks a lot to be desired.

Angelo’s BBQ for the atmosphere, bear at the front door, it’s been there since I was a kid and I’m 62, the ribs are good, and the beer is cold. Get a tall dark.
