I’m over in Edna bout 5 miles north of town . We have only got maybe 3 inches of rain in the last 2 months. Most of that was a few days ago.

Spotty but I declare the drought over in southern Jackson county.

I dont know how it happened yesterday, but we were sitting here watching football. It was sunny outside, little clouds, but sunny. Then we got a weather alert from local news app. We were confused. About 5 minutes later, we got 3.5-4" in about 25 minutes. I have never seen it rain that hard that fast before. Neighbors lost a huge tree, we lost a smaller one. I live on 1.5 acres, and my entire backyard was a lake. South Lubbock county. My parents live about 3 miles north of me, didnt get a drop.

Anybody know if Sabine county got rain yesterday? Reason being is I cancelled my trip to my property on Toledo Bend cause of rain and am presently stuck at in-laws with twisted sisters-in-law. Ugh......
