On my run this morning I came upon 2 very newborn fawns along the edge of the road. One stood up - very wobbly. The other stayed hunkered down in the grass. The momma was watching from about 30 yards away.
I just kept on running.
On my return pass only one fawn was still there and I didn't see the momma.
Love this time of year and seeing all the new fawns.
