Nice, I just ordered the new Canon SX50 yesterday. Not a DSLR, but 50x optical zoom. . . I got to have this thing for the deer stand.

As you figured out, that's a lot of fun in that little package of glass. I don't own the 1.4, but do have the 1.8. They're great lenses.

Nice... I don't have the Canon 50mm but I do own a Rokkor-X 50mm f/1.7 and the Rokkor-X 85mm f/1.7 as well.

Westbrook, I used to have a t3i, really loved it. Prompted me towards the 60d i have now and soon to be 5d MkIII i hope
Hillary, I also used to have a 1.8 but sold it a while back to a friend who really wanted one. A good excuse for me to buy the 1.4
Cottonwood, i saw the pic you posted of the mountain with that Rokkor.
Very nice! I hope to be getting a Canon 85mm 1.8 soon.

Henry there is just something about using a prime lens for shooting, from street scenes to portraits. Your 60D is an animal all its own out of the t3i league altogether. I'm hoping to get the 5D MkIII myself someday, as money permits though
