Collin County Bowhunters 2012 Season Opener

We will start our 2012 3D season at Collin County Bowhunters on Feb 11/12.

This will be an all class shoot, so come on out, we would love to have you. Entry fee for non-members is $20, and for Club Members it will be reduced to $10

Our Membership Fee is $50 per year for individuals and their immediate family under the age of 19. As a member, you will have access to the practice range 24/7 for no additional fees except on tournament days and you will get the reduced entry fees for the tournaments. The reduced entry fees will almost pay for the membership, so take that into consideration.

Kids under 12 ALWAYS shoot free, member or not! We would like to see more kids coming out to shoot with us, so bring them on out.

We give trophies for the first 3 places in each class, including the kids.

When does it start? Im gonna try and make it. Haven't shot a 3d course in awhile.

We will be there early. California start, you can start when you want to as long as score card is in by 2:00 PM each day. Shoot will be both Sat and Sun. Trophies for first three places in each class will be awarded on Sunday after scores are tallied.

Can you shoot the course twice on Saturday? I work Sunday and wouldnt be able to make it.

The tournament is a one round tournament. You can shoot either day. You can shoot a second round for fun, but not for score in the compound classes because of the yardage issues.

Quick Reminder!
Targets are set and ready to go. It is gonna be cold, but hey, it's winter time, it is suppsoed to be cold. Come on out anyway, it is better than setting around watching the boob tube!

Want to thank everyone who braved the cold and came out today. We had 30+ shooters, not sure of the exact number. If you could not make it today, we will be there tomorrow moring at 7:30. Probably REALLY gonna need the Long Johns early, but I think it is supposed to get warmer tomorrow than it did today. All but 3 or 4 targets are down in the woods, so they are largely out of the wind.
Football season is over, come on out!

Want to thank everyne who came out this week-end.

In spite of the cold, we had over 70 shooters for the week-end. Also had some really good scores. I will get them posted as quickly as I can, but it will probably be tomorrow.

Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you guys at the ASA Qualifier on March 31/April 1. Hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate!
