I couldn't tell from the video, is it maybe a doe with antlers?
And if it is in velvet does it qualify as a buck? I was remembering "hardened antlers protruding through the skin" from the handbook, but don't have one handy to see if that is what qualifies a buck.

I killed one years ago near Llano. After some research I found out biologists refer to them as Criptorchid Whitetail Bucks. They do NOT have testicles and the older they get many times the more bizarre their racks are. They will always be in velvet. Nothing else wrong with them other than NO huevos and non typical racks.

The one I killed was really unique and he was also tasty per memory, lol!
