Couldn’t be happier for this woman right now. In the last three years she has killed 11 or 12 deer. All with a rifle. After patiently waiting and persistence I was able to get her into archery. She’s practiced as much as she had time for and has become a very good shot out to 30. Well, today she put it in motion and stuck her very first bow kill at bear 20 yards and I think she’s hooked for good. Complete pass through with a 1.5 rage. Doe made it 50 yards and was done.

I knew it was going down when they started making their way to corn. Caci was knocked and loaded. Lol. Clipped into the d loop and counting down the yards! It was just a matter of which one of the three doe presented a shot. To my surprise, she actually waited until the most mature of the three gave her a clean shot and took the biggest doe.

Extremely proud! I kept my ****ing noir shut as she told me to and let her do her thing since this is the first year she’s really started hunting on her own. More meat for the freezer!
