Default Bucks for the Grandkids!

Not near as many big bucks as last year but got a few ready for them to hunt. Hope they all get at least one chance to shoot at one. Average antler size this year is less, but still have a couple that will give them the shakes! LOL!! What it's all about. Kids in the woods!

I've spent more on protein than I should have. Most of my deer are in very good shape. Antler conditions down but still have 1 or 2 nice ones.

Awesome! Those deer look great with the range conditions. I can relate to the protien costs this year. We are just having to spend a tad of their inheritence to make it happen. Hopefully they can seal the deal on their target deer.

If that 9 has some age I’d have no issues letting those kids shoot him. From a management perspective, all he has are good brows.

[QUOTE=Big pig;16386344] “ I would shoot a comparable 8.”

Without the big bruws or ninth point. Even if it was a year younger.
I l would keep the big brows and multi pointed deer breeding for another year.
