I can thank a Texas cold front for starting off 2022. The temperature dropped and the mature bucks started moving. He came cruising past my ground blind around 10 yards and passed behind a scrub mesquite covering my draw. The arrow entered his left shoulder, taking out both lungs and the top of the heart, exited and ended up ten yards past where he was standing. He made it 30 yards, piling up about 15 yards behind me.

Definitely take the leap! I dipped my toe into it 4 years ago and now donít even own a compound. My single string collection seems to keep growing though.

The highs are great, but the lows will test your resolve and character. Go in knowing it's a bumpy ride.

Good shooting Corey, right where it needed to go. Dig that white fletching on arrows, look just like mine, can follow them to target real easy.

I was scouting and got in the mix of some hogs in thick palmettos. I grunted and this huge sow came by and I shot her on the run at 10 foot!

A terrible shot, but it was my lucky day. Hitting high and back, my VPA managed to find an artery and she bled out in about 150 yards. And, I was blessed to have Bisch to help track her. He's a pretty fair blood hound!
