Kids Teeth Question

I’m all for being conservative with primary(baby) teeth when possible. Small cavities on teeth that will be lost in the near future don’t necessarily have to be restored. Neglecting cavities on teeth that won’t be lost for 4-5 years can create serious problems. Once the decay reaches the pulp chamber(nerve) inside the tooth it will die and become infected. Having those infected teeth extracted and space maintainers placed is not cheap either. Did they show you X-rays or intra oral photos of the cavities? Feel free to PM me if you have X-rays or photos.

I agree with Speck. If the Op needs a 2nd opinion just pm, I've only been doing this for 20 years.
