It was a beating but we found one in Northwest Arkansas. We sold in 4 days, but finding a house is a beating. We offered 20k over list on one we really liked but I guess we got out bid.

We sold ours last May...fortunately we were able to buy 6 months before we sold and carried both mortgages while we prepped the old house for sale. S.A. market was/is insane. We got 18 offers in 48 hours every one of them 30k over asking minimum. The winner took it for 50k over asking and waived everything but the kitchen sink.

The house we bought was actually our 3rd choice, but we close on the 20th and didn’t want to move twice, I’ll make it our own.

We will have the carpets yanked and luxury vinyl wood looking planks installed before we move in, we have a lease back until 1/21/22 so hopefully no shortages on flooring.
