My little guy turned 6 in August. He’s been practicing with my .300 blackout and begging me to take him hunting. Struck out a couple times for pigs but this evening we threw up a popup in my stepdads corral. He told me 12-15 doe and a decent buck had been out every evening about 100 yards behind their house.
Jensen and I got in the popup about 3:45 and about 5:00 pm my stepdad said there were deer in the pasture behind the house. Luckily they came past us and Jensen dropped this heavy doe at 75 yards. He was super excited.
