I prefer Drago’s for oysters over Acme.
X2 in the WW2 museum, it’s great.
Go get drinks at the Columns Hotel on St Charles....on your way to go grab dinner on Magazine St. (lots of great options over there)
Audubon Zoo is great if you have kids (or even without kids). Beautiful part of the city with all the giant oaks.
Walk up Royal St., then walk back down Bourbon St.
Gamble at Harrahs.

Last time we went, we stayed at the Hotel Monteleone. It’s got a cool bar that rotates around the middle. The steakhouse across the street has great desserts. The WWII Museum is fantastic. I haven’t been in a few years and want to go back, but I’m gonna wait until the Covid craziness dies down

Mothers was a great place to eat before Katrina hit, once the national media started talking about it the prices went up and the quality went down. It’s a shame because my wife really enjoyed going there. Middendorfs in Hammonds is well worth the short detour off of I-10 to eat some good thin fried catfish .
