    Shipping ammo.

I saw a topic over this a while back. Used the search function but can't find it. What do you have to do to ship ammunition through UPS? I learned you can't even ship shell casings with the primer in them through the postal service so I need to get it right for sure. Maybe UPS is different but with live ammunition I'm not sure. It can't be as simple as putting them in a box and shipping it. Nothing is ever that easy.

They have to be shipped ground I believe. That’s not saying I haven’t shipped and received plenty of ammo regular USPS.

Most “pack and mail” places won’t take it. I had to go to the distribution center and had no issues at all.

The UPS guy comes to where I work so most likely it's gonna get sent from there.

Box it up and label the outside on all sides with ORMD and let him pick it up. I do the same thing from my office. Doesnt have to be a sticker you can write it with a sharpie.

Must go ground and must be labelled ORM-D.

                          Other Regulated Material
ORM-D (Other Regulated Material) material is a limited quantity of a hazardous material that presents a limited hazard during transportation due to its form, quantity, and packaging. Not all hazardous materials permitted to be shipped as a limited quantity can qualify as an ORM-D material.

gave instructions but the guy at the store said
