This happens to me and it takes a few drinks to get out of them that they use a crossbow. Also a few more drinks to finally accept that is NOT bowhunting.

A lot of the self proclaimed experts seem to chime in with advice, whereas the guys who have years of experience under their belt only chime in every once in a while. I wish there was some kind of meter in everyone's avatar to indicate ACTUAL BOWHUNTING EXPERIENCE. Factors would include how long you have actually bowhunted, how many successful kills, how many counties you hunted, etc... C-mon TBH lets make us a formula! I admittedly would probably fall right in the middle of this spectrum. I've hunted a long time and killed plenty animals, but I've only really hunted a couple properties.

All I need to hear is your own words; how does an arrow sound in flight and on impact! I can tell a bowhuntin from a liar with that one question.

That depends on if your using feathers or vanes. And if it came from a vertical bow or a horizontal bow.

Edit: Impact has different sounds too. Like a rib breaking vs. a gut shot.

I didnít quote you and I donít think I missed any point. The point of this thread seems mostly to be critical of people that you donít really know other than what you imagine in your mind. I think you pretty well proved my point.
