I took my daughter Izzy out a few weeks ago-in the same ground blinds, chairs, bipods etc we will be using in colorado bend to make sure we got it all worked out. I even pulled the cargo trailer to my brothers place in the hillcountry. She arrowed(cross bow) her first doe at 30 yrds! While she blood trailed it, she was laughing and crying at the same time. Lol. The monkey is off her back. She can't wait to get to colorado bend!!.... Bucks beware!
Thank you. He shot a spike 3 years ago at a buddy's place.

Congrats to your daughter. I hope y'all smoke a big one at the Colorado Bend.

Thanks man. Heading south in the morning for a Lower Rio Grande National Refuge hunt (archery) that starts Thursday so hopefully the good hunts continue.

                Good luck
I’ll be leaving for my annual hunt in luckenbach early Thursday morning through Sunday then head to Oklahoma early Monday morning for a week to hunt the red river and then spend the next week at the farm chasing a few big ones with the kids.

                Post up pics!
