Looking for a restaurant in Waco that serves calf fries (Rocky Mountain oysters). Heitmillers family steakhouse quit serving them 2 years ago. Any idea where some friends from Virginia could find some in the Waco area?

Kenney Store in Kenney does. But thats well out of your way. Id think somewhere west of Waco bound to serve em.

I sure wish I could help you out, I shore do like me some calf fries but we usually just harvest our own.

I come across them once in awhile but it’s getting far and few between these days.

I've had them a few times at a friend's ranch in Llano and a couple of times at NIOSA during Fiesta in San Antonio. They're good. Never seen them on a menu at a restaurant.
