I'm still on Cloud 9 as I type this. We have been watching this buck on our lease for at least 4 years. Fargus gave him the nickname Elvis and he was a regular at his wife's stand for a couple years. He went MIA 2 years ago, but started appearing on cameras this fall. Tonight at 5:04, he slipped up and came to my set. I haven't ben able to check my last trail camera pics yet, but I've never seen him at my spot before tonight. 15 yard shot, double lung and he didn't go 80 yards. I'm so glad that someone on our lease was able to seal the deal on him. Of course my luck continues, I always seem to shoot my bucks on the evening sit when I'm at the lease alone. I must say, I'm getting pretty good at loading them up and caping them solo. Sorry for the crappy trailer pucs, but it was dark and I was by myself. He has a date with the taxidermist tomorrow.
