According to the instant poll, 76 percent of those who watched the speech approved of what the president said. Less than a quarter, 24 percent, disapproved of what they heard.

You are 100% spot on! We do need to get involved. We need to lift, boldly, and unashamedly support this president and. The reason the left is attracting young voters is because theyíre out there. Theyíre visible, theyíre loud and in your face. And also indoctrination trough the education system, but thatís another discussion for another time. We patriots need to be just as loud, proud and in your face. I think weíve been quiet because we could never see the masses getting on board with this crazy socialism garbage, yet here we are. I for one am going to do the same. Iím going to reach out to the local GOP. Iím going to make what little difference I can. The future of our country is at stake here.

While that is certainly positive, it is still disturbing that of a sample of the population, 24% cannot think for themselves and take what is being spoon fed to them or worse actually disagree with an America first agenda

I was really hoping he would go ahead and declare the national emergency during his speech. I know its probably not the correct forum for that, but I think it would have been fun to watch the demoncrats finally stand up. Even if it was to walk out.

Why are they trying so hard to have these late term, and in some cases last minute abortions? At that stage the baby has to come out of the mother anyway. Why isn't adoption the first option that late in the pregnancy? Why are these people hell bent on killing the baby?
My exact thoughts. It has to come out via c section or vaginally either way. It makes me sick.

I saw this video last week and I feel like it's something that needs to be heard by everyone even considering abortion or those that are even uneducated about the process.

Warning it is a graphic explanation by the doctor:

Its funny to make fun of the young lady's looks, and then realize it is in defense of Donald Trump.

Not a bad speech at all. I dont particularly care for him, but that's just because I can't get the you're fired reality TV thing out of my head.

Democrats yelling GOP. GOP yelling back at Democrats is a problem someone has to solve. The labels are stagnating the entire country.

Nitpicking on the fact checks are nauseating. They've turned into exactly what they hated about the whole "birther" thing.

Yeah, looks is only skin deep. Stupidity is to the bone.

Hereís the deal. She is an elected congresswoman. She is an admitted socialist, with a socialist agenda. You can call it labels, or whatever else you want. You say itís stagnating the entire country, I say itís a very real threat to the very fabric of our country. We are a Constitutional Republic. We have absolutely no reason, nor obligation, to compromise with such idiotic beliefs. God Bless America!

It's really not the AOC's and Bernie's out there that concern me...it's the pure idiotic emotional voters that put them into office who petrify me.

All you have to do is look to Ohio...love reagan or trump, thank Ohio. Hate Obama or carter then look to Ohio. To date, that state has voted in every potus we have & how those idiots can swing one way to the polar with such different views tell me that voters in general have no principal beliefs they care clinging to. All based on emotion, immediate satisfaction & also why mid-terms have a swing.

We are gonna be so screwed at some point.

I saw something recently, I canít remember where, but basically itís some kind of change to the election process thatís going to give Ohio less weight than they carry now. Youíre absolutely right there is no reason at all that that one state should decide who the president is.

The problem we have in this country is that we have the left wing nutjobs getting followed around by the media and are constantly beating the drum of "health care is a right, the rich don't pay their fair share, college education should be free" and on and on so the millennials of which many have been raised in single parent homes that have been subsidized by government programs start believing this garbage. Since civics and history are no longer emphasized in schools anymore our children are no longer taught the founding principles of this country. They think socialism is fair to all but they don't realize that socialism is for the people, not the socialist. How many leaders of socialist countries are living the same lifestyle as the people they govern? That is how so many socialists get voted into office on our country. They tell you what they want to "give" you but have no answer when you ask them how are you going to pay for it, other than "tax the rich". Like Margaret Thatcher said- what do you do when you run out of other people's money.

I would like to understand folks that would vote Democrat.
I don't know anyone personally that will admit to it.
I asked around after the Beto mess.

I would like them to explain how they could think taking the money from someone who earned it and giving it to some one who didn't, letting folks come into our country illegally and killing 9 month old babies all is a good ideal.
Somebody out there voted for Beto but no one I know will admit to it.

A true millenial nutjob that is the product of our education system shifting far left......

She was voted in by some VERY LOW INFO VOTERS......

I dont think she will be around long....Joe Crowley is working hard to get back in....
Even Nancy is calling out her Green New Deal.....

The media loves her because she is a train wreck and cant look away, they wait with baited breath waiting for her to open her mouth....

I believe she said we could just print the money needed if it came to that.

Haven't heard anything along those lines & wasn't really making any sort of argument that I felt our EC process was flawed to a point where Ohio had too much stroke on election night.

My point was more along how emotional voters are vs being logical...you basically have a split in Ohio between the two party lines close to 50/50 along with a large group of independents & you can see how their emotions have given us every potus we have to date. It is quite amazing.

Ohio proves to me that we have idiots not using their noggins when it's time to vote...watch 2020 & we will have a good idea who will win simply based on Trump's position or situation is in early November. If he's on a roll & doing something righteous most approve like he's standing now with the SOTU address on his heels, he will be a shoe in.

If Trump has a moment streak of moronic tweets the media can spring board with or any other minor negative issue beyond the grand scheme & having a series of bad moments, their emotion will not allow them to vote based on the overall best choice. It will simply be a vote against based on the current political mood & not what for the best person needed for the next 4 years.

Bottom line, voters are becoming our worst enemy not the socialists who are running.
