Anytime abortions, gay marriage, Pedophilia, and many other things will be considered norm if no one stands against it. Had Hillary won, the Supreme Court would have been lost. I pray Trump continues to fight against the Democrats.

Another missed paycheck tomorrow will get something moving. On top of that, my wife was told this week that her/our health insurance would cease also. There is an option to purchase Cobra or something similar next week. This ďshouldĒ end soon. Canít imagine whatís going through some peopleís head, just glad that we are fortunate enough not to be paycheck to paycheck but know thatís not the case for everyone out there.

I hope it's obvious to people that the Democrats want people to suffer over this.

Donald Trump wants to build a wall to protect American citizens.
Who are the Democrats protecting by denying it?

The democrats have wanted the same thing as Trump does now. There is video after video as proof to that. Itís all about not letting Trump fulfill a campaign promise. Pure and simple.

I think we all agree it's not just Democrats. Republicans had control of the Congress and Trump still couldn't get his wall, or repeal Obamacare

Not only is all the above true, but this Mueller investigation along with the democrats obstructing everything, their 2nd goal is to make **** sure that no other outsider attempts to run for President again. He has taken away their power and control over that office and they simply will not stand for it.
A constitutional convention of states is needed to impose term limits on these offices or we will lose this country.

I would also be in favor of a constitutional convention amending the laws to allow removal or expulsion of a member of congress by means other than 2/3 majority vote of the house in which they serve. Especially those that abuse power like Pelosi and Schumer have done and for other criminal acts for which they are convicted. In such case a majority vote in the senate or a court could remove someone like Pelosi for obstruction etc. As it stands now no member of congress can be removed for anything short of murder.

If republicans had 60 members in the senate, then the wall would have been funded. That would have been control of the congress.

Well he opened the Government back up. Pelosi said "open the Government and then we will negotiate."

Anyone think she's gonna give him a wall?

I predict he will call a National Emergency after these 3 weeks are up. Then he will try to build the wall without Congressional approval.

You are both ignoring my main point, which was, and still is, it’s all theater and neither side was going to miss out on the cameras that come with a SotU. There is still 4 days until the Address, I’ll double down and say we have some level of border security funding by Tues. Trump needs a win and so do the Dems. Neither have weathered this storm well

Well I only got the chance to ask one of ‘em and I have to admit I was surprised to hear she believes a wall is probably the best use of any new funds earmarked for border security. I expected her to say more manpower but apparently (in her opinion) there’s a lot of laziness and inefficiency among the ranks currently.

Well, instead of today, the SOTU has been rescheduled. Any bets on if Pelosi allows him to give it this time?

Abrams, former Georgia governor candidate, to give Democrats' State of the Union response

I'm sure they picked Abrams because they see her as being expendable. Pelosi and Schumer looked like idiots (surprise) the last time they teamed up for a response. They definitely don't want to give a response to an argument in favor of protecting the border. So they'll send out somebody that will fire up their base without worrying about that person getting damaged in the process. When the response goes over like a lead balloon, they can blame it on her.

Yes sir!
And they will address her as "Madame Speaker..."

I'm curious what he'll have to say about drug prices and buying drugs from Canada more than anything
That effects my bottom line and yearly bonus

And when is he going to remove their interstate restrictions on buying health insurance?

And they will address him as Mr. President.

He may say some thing about drug prices and how they are artificially high because every one in the drug business is screwing the American people.

Here's a comical scenario I dreamed up yesterday that could play out-

As Everyone is being seated for the address- They roll out RBG, prop her up in her chair and make her look somewhat healthy.

Then when Trump is hitting the high points to his base and middle roaders they have RBG take a spill.
She rolls out of her chair and requires immediate medical attention.
The paramedics load her up on a gurney and off she goes- stealing all the attention paid to the SOTU in the process.

A week or so goes by with the MSM only talking about her fallout instead of anything said at the SOTU, then a vitamin B12 shot later she pops back out as healthy as can be expected at her age.

Doubt it will happen, but I wouldn't put anything past the DEMs to further hinder Trump at this point.

Cameras these days are are pretty high def and we would see the strings connected to her arms and legs I dont think they want any cameras on her during the event..
