The Urban Cowboy movie is kind of like eating at Panchos. You get nostalgic about it, then go eat and remember why you don’t eat there often.

I think the worst part of that movie was Scott Glenns mesh shirt

Two things come to mind. 1. How many pheasant died to make all the feathered hat bands after the movie came out and 2. Vinnie Barbarino as a Texan.

We did enjoy the movie though. As mentioned, great sound track but I never owned the recording. Likely not one I would watch today.
