It was 12 years ago but AtTheWall treated my daughter and I to an awesome meal in Boerne. No idea on the name of the place but it was a convenience store (possibly gas station?) that had a small meat shop/bbq in the back. Awesome meal! That's not much help but I'll always remember that one.
Dodging Duck
Cypress Grill
There is a new restaurant across from Cypress Grill on the third floor, can’t remember the name it’s good
Popos is good about a 10 min drive west
Restaurant at the Bevy is good as well.
Hungry Horse in Boerne has good chicken fried steak.
We like going to The Grill at Leon Springs (southwest of Boerne off IH-10 & Boerne Stage Road). Might be considered a little on the expensive side, but they usually do Groupons and the chef changes up the menu regularly. Great food!

This was Riverside BBQ inside the old Shell gas station at the corner of River Rd and Main St. They sold to a developer and it has been leveled. Now it is a vacant lot. The plan was to build a CVS, but it had been rejected by the locals.

The new restaurant across from Cypress is Richters and it’s a good place to eat.
My favorite is Peggy’s on the Green, which is owned by the same person that owns Bohanans steakhouse in San Antonio.

The name of the third floor restaurant is Richter Tavern. The food is good, but the drinks and atmosphere is why we go.
"High" End Places:
Peggy's on the Green
The Creek
Both good, but pricey
Mroe Reasonable:
Dodging Duck
Cibolo Creek Brewing Co (I am personally not a huge fan of the food but I am the anomaly)
Brantley's Bistro
Breakfast:
Mary's Tacos (have to stop here. They are amazing)
The Dienger Trading Co (your wife will love it)

Dang it! I bet they called it progress when they levelled it. Good thing we have our memories.
