Not raining but they are far enough along the squirrels are cutting. Lots of red oak some white.

Dropping at my house. Will likely drop like crazy this week, just in time for opening day.

I was out at some land up in North Texas yesterday. As I was walking through some trees there were so many acorns on the ground it sounded like little bombs going off every time I took a step. I don’t think they have to go very far to eat now.

They are dropping around the house, mostly water oak and live oak. Still hitting the corn hard at home and the lease though.

Same story every year, someone needs to convince TP&WL to open season Sept 15th.

I've got a few burr oaks and a few other oaks (not sure which) at my house and they're just starting to drop acorns (in Sanger). Would it be a good idea to gather up a few buckets of them and bring them to the feeder?

                          Not worth the effort

We have white oaks, over cup, and pin oaks falling around here. Saw some of all of those today while walking around
