Moma Berry's Hush Puppies

Makes about 20-30


Mix

1 cup Cornmeal

1 Cup Flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

¾ teaspoon salt



Add and Mix

1 egg

¾ Cup creamed corn

1/4-1/3 cup of either water, milk, or beer (optional)

½ cup diced onions

¼ cup Jalapenos (optional)

Drop into 275° oil by the heaping teaspoon and fry till golden brown.

I hauled all the trash bags off, as luck would have it, there was not enough room in the parking area at the dumpster for me to pull in with my trailer and turn around to get out. I ended up putting the sacks in my trailer. It was raining like crazy when I got home and had to the the trash in my trailer over night.

You would not believe the "aroma" coming out of my trailer this morning.
