Let's keep at them. Late for first round, but big boar hasn't shown yet.

Boar was 50 yards away through brush, coming in. He crossed spot where piglets died and was spooked. Still holding tight.

Well, I decided to get down. I walked into woods to cut out backstraps and heard the piglets. I walked toward them to possibly snag another one of them and I saw the big boar. I'll get him another day.

Headed to the box at the house. Pigs aren't very regular, but I figured I'd try for an hour or so.

I built new arrows with the help of ranch fairy. Went from 412 grains to 592 grains. I got a good pass through tonight. Lol. I could hear him flopping about 30 yards across the creek. Gonna take the side by side and make sure he's there.

Thought about hunting last night, but I had a slight case of the stomach bug. Dog started barking just after 8:30. Grabbed the red light, walked out in the pasture far enough to see the feeder at the box stand, the black and blonde boar were feasting. By the time I decided to try to stalk up on em, they were gone. Gonna grab a bite to eat and give it a try tonight. Wind won't be right again until NEXT Saturday night.

I don't think I'll have much pigs in the fields this summer as they've hunted with helicopters a couple of times recently around the area so if I pig hunt it'll probably be public land.

Thank you sir. Yes it's about time for a kramer/newman polka sausage making party. This boar came in just after 10p right when I was running out of patience. Will keep the pork coming

Killed 2 yesterday but I used a gun.. one with 22 at 10 yards spot and stalk and the other was with night vision under my feeder. Would have had 3 but my 22 failed to fire on the second pig and he walked into the brush before I could get a new round in the chamber.

I did the same thing during deer season. I usually keep it attached to my bow, but I used it on my backup bow a few nights before. I had my rifle with me, so it wasn't a total bust. Are you close enough to go get it?

I did the same thing, left my release on my other bow and was in a hurry and forgot it .To make it worse, I walked in a couple hundred yards anyway and on the way back I run into a group of pigs I could have had a chance at. Oh well, I'll be back, probably friday. It's a 40 minute round trip so I'll just come back another day with my release on the first trip lol.
