County show week! Cattle this evening. Millie's American got classed out and kicked to the heat - heavy AOB black. Sucks, but is what it is. Nathan should be in good shape, medium AOB blacks. Let's do this!

My niece had grand lamb at county and a class winner with another. The white lamb that won its class is one we raised. Almost ended up reserve.

My boy won the Alvin invitational livestock judging contest today in the senior division. He finished 1st out of 312. His team won first also overall. They left before the awards were handed out so he hasn't gotten his award yet.

Good luck! My sister left here about an hour ago. Heard there will be around 1700 lambs this year.

If you see a young red headed man about 23 with a Rocking M cap and hoodie please find some way to mess with him. After he gets flustered you can tell him that's compliments of uncle Eddie.

Good luck to him

We got back from San Angelo late Sunday night. My son showed his goat better than I had ever seen him show it. He just simply got out powered in the 2nd heaviest class at San Angelo. There were some absolute monsters in his class. The Grand Champion was out of his class. Very good quality goats. We had a good time and my son learns something new every time so life is good

3rd in class with 1 goat.
Grand Champion with his other goat.
Champion Showmanship.
Definitely a cold day to show, but worth the trip!

We are heading out to San Antonio livestock show this evening with our dark cross. Wish us luck! Its a dang tough pig show but its my absolute favorite. We got a pretty solid dark cross that hopefully makes the break in light weights around 248.

Definitely a power hog...Looks really clean fronted and good neck extension for a bruiser. Good Luck, should be able to play in that weight range.

If we make light weights, the goal is too see how many are gonna be built like that. You dont see alot like that in light weights. Hogue likes em built and ones that can move. He should fit what he likes. Hopefully anyways lol.

We're definitely in the thick of the season. At county, kids both sold a pen of rabbits (bunnies feed steers!). Nathan had third light black steer. Millie had 2nd heavy black steer.

Last Friday we welcomed 75 broilers for Austin. That's a hoot.

We leave midnight tomorrow to stage steers in SA. Nathan shows the first class of the show, light wt Maine. Millie shows Wednesday (we're praying here) a heavy ABC. If not, she goes Friday.

What a cold and nasty day today has been, but it turned out to be a great day. Went to the Van FFA alumni jackpot show, and had a great time. My daughter Kinslie did an awesome job showing her pigs. She placed 4th out of 25 . My niece Took home first in her class then won grand champion pig. My daughter, niece and nephew all did a great job and the hard work is paying off.
