I’ve got a friend that is getting on a lease around there and I’m thinking there would be axis.

I have never seen an axis along there but they run up and down the river. I'm down stream of 10 mile and we see a few occasionally.

I’ve seen them around that area behind high-fence. Maybe some flooding could have given them a way out

We hunt 1/2 way between Mason and Menard. We have a lot of San Saba River frontage. We’ve never seen any axis.

I hunt in NW Menard and we have a few on camera every year, but we rarely see them in the field.

Well this is good News as they seem to be in the general area. It will just come down to if they frequent this lease.

We just got on Menard this year and I caught one Axis on camera back in April but nothing since then. I know they’re around just don’t know where they are in abundance. We are off of 1773 by London Oaks Ranch

They have not made it that far east thought they are slowly headed that way. Right now, they are on the west side of Menard along the river in the edge of town.
