Did wood so I’d have places to hang my mounts.
Wanted all steel to avoid fire, water, bugs, huge expense.
Had to incorporate some wood to hang mounts.Last edited by sasqy; 09-12-2021, 08:01 PM.

Thank you for the reply. I was not sure what was cheaper in today's crazy world.
If I knew which large locations I would want mounts I would back those walls with 3/8" plywood or OSB.
I did something similar in my spare bathroom recently. I put large blocking in where the towel bar mounts. Most of those are either 18" or 24". Studs on 16" centers makes it **** near impossible to get both ends in studs. Wet towels can have some weight to them and add in kids not being too gentle...
Something to consider.
Same thing where you may roughly want a TP holder.

Just for curiosity’s sake. Did you silicone/seal all the holes at the windows and doors where the trim and r-panel meet? I have a buddy building one now. We finished the metal building the other day and he plans to do closed cell foam. I am worried about water infiltration at all the locations small amounts of daylight are visible.
