Does CEFCO have good coffee? I can never find a gas station with good coffee, big difference between what I make @ home, then make a stop and get swill @ a station

Goodness, I can't drink that stuff any more. I bought a superautomatic for the house and it grinds fresh italian beans and makes a phenomenal cappuccino. I'm ruined on drip coffee.

Same here, once I started on making coffee @ home, gas station coffee seems terrible, I usually fill a thermos up @ home

If you want some really great choices for coffee from all over the world, ground or beans, go to www.coffeebeandirect.com. you will not be disappointed. We have tried and drank a lot of the coffee they have!

Only home brew here !
Every time I’ve got a cup at a store, I couldn’t take more than 2 sips before pouring out.

Sorry OP
Community coffee is good for less expensive brands of ground coffee
HEB brand is pretty decent, Kona , pecan, city blend

Expensive is like Jamaica blue mountain pea berry @ $115 per lbs
Hawaiian private label
Or exotic stuff from Bali $250 lbs

“” Black Ivory Coffee – More than $500/pound
Finca El Injerto Coffee – $500/pound
Hacienda La Esmeralda– More than $500/pound
Kopi Luwak – $160/pound
Saint Helena Coffee – $79/pound
Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee – More than $50/pound
Fazenda Santa Ines – $50/pound
Starbucks Quadriginoctuple Frap – $47.30/cup
Los Planes Coffee – $40/pound
Hawaiian Kona Coffee – $34/pound “”

If you live in a metro area, check out Central Market. They have tons of coffee flavors and are fresh. Personal favorites are Texas Pecan and Vanilla Cinnamon Pecan.

I like coffee. And I mean I really like coffee. But I am fortunate that my tastebuds aren't crazy about most of the high end coffees I've tried. I guess all that sophistication is lost on me. I am very content drinking my low end Community, HEB, Independence Coffee, etc. I just like what I like and I ain't ashamed of it.

Buy Black Rifle “Silencer Smooth”. 12oz bag is $15. Less expensive if you buy the 5# bag for $75.

Speedyway coffee is surprisingly good I've found. I love coffee so normally gas station coffee is just a habit item, but theirs was good.

I usually drink homebrew too (Black Rifle club member here), but every now and then I am on the road and have got to get a cup of coffee at a gas station, so thanks for the tip. I'll try it!

Love the Cefco coffee bar, but I usually get it at the station at 31 and 2661 closer to home. I stop at the 314/I20 location a lot for gas/bathroom break, will have to try it there as well. I usually just get the Columbian.

I like the lavazza brand and buy direct with coupons when they email to me. It ends up being about 9 bucks a pound or so. I've been all over Europe and that stuff is ubiquitous.

I usually buy gold selection which is mostly Arabica with a little Robustu for a bit of bite. Qualita D' Oro is 100% arabica and so smooth it's almost like a cup of hot chocolate. It is less caffeine, though. I've tried dozens and dozens of beans and I keep coming back to these two. Illy is probably the only thing I like a little better but it is ridiculously expensive.

Whatís the deal with black rifle coffee we have one in boerne, and some of us went one day, it tasted burnt and bitter
Way worse than Seattle style coffee
And itís got terrible reviews on line
Is it all bitter/ dark roast

We buy there coffee to brew at home. I love it. They have dark and med roast. I prefer dark roast and wife like the Med roast. So you know what we get. Yep the med. so I make it a little stronger. We love it. I drink it black and straight.
