I'd play the game if I was younger and could figure out all the accounts, wallets, how to buy etc...

But keep in mind it's not regulated either. So when people do lose a ton of money they'll have zero recourse.

My thoughts exactly. And I can see a lot of ways for people to lose money. When you're having to exchange real cash for one crypto to swap for another crypto, and having to use multiple questionable sites to do so... if one of them fails, you could get stuck with a whole lot of nothing except wasted money. Honestly feels a whole lot like a legal pyramid scheme, especially with people paying exchange funds that go to people who already own the stock. Like, that's literally the only equity in this stuff is that you get money from people paying inflated prices to trade?

This is very true for people who play the game a lot. If you have little invested and you can 100X your money, then it becomes a risk vs reward. Nobody should tie up a bunch of money in this stuff that they canít afford to lose.

Speculating, but if this particular one were to tank, it wouldn't necessarily mean it is going to jack the price up to take it out. I believe etherium is a cryptocurrency set up to make transactions on for all cryptocurrencies. So if bitcoin is rising or falling and people are getting in or out of that, and all other coins are following BTC, that may be a bigger or better indicator.

Definitely agree with this. Iíve considered risking a grand or two to hit a big score. I know people with 100k or more tied up, which is terrifying to me

It is an investment so there is plenty of risk and tbh it is a pain in the ***** to acquire at first. But once you get used to the apps and done a few transfers it seems simple. Many colleagues make the initial investment, wait for it to double or triple and then pull out their initial investment. At that point you are ďplaying with house moneyĒ

Is there a fee to transfer from Coinbase to Metamask? Is it cheaper to just buy ethereum in Metamask?

Another tip....my initial eth purchase in coinbase was done via bank transfer (ie: 2 day wait) if you purchase the eth with PayPal you can transfer to your wallet immediately (of course there is a fee, but small compared to the miner/gas fees when you use uniswap to convert from eth to elonone)

I can't answer to if you can buy ethereum on metamask, but regardless, there is no way of avoiding the gas fee which is expensive right now.

I have the same issue, I think it has to do with the android version of the app b/c folks with apple show the decimals. I've just been using a browser and searching "Astroelon price" then going to the zerion web page for astroelon, it's like the third one down when using google

I threw $1000 in Shiba Inu through crypto.com and it was way much easier than this. I started downloading all the apps/wallets but itís just not worth it. Iíll throw a grand or two in it once it hits crypto.com.

When adding the asset, custom when you add the contract address

0x97b65710d03e12775189f0d113202cc1443b0aa2

choose the decimal places t0 12 or 15

So my Metamask shows that Iíve gained about 13 million shares since Saturday, but Zerion only shows the amount I started with. Any ideas on how to get the amount of shares in Zerion to update?

They will update over time. When you do decide to cash out and go to Uniswap it wonít miss any.

You swap it back to Ethereum and deposit it into your bank from your wallet.

Is there an easier way to check gas prices, (fees) or do you have to go through the whole process of buying and swapping to check them?

https://ethereumprice.org/gas/

I like swapping and checking. Changing the decimals when needed. By now if your trying to MAX your ETH with Elon it will cost you more ETH.

Best thing is to drop decimals $150 less than what’s in your ETH and keep trying until it hits below $150.

Last Wednesday I paid $7 fee. The next day I had no idea what was happening and complained about a $40-$50 fee. Still bought more. Then the last time paid $116 a couple days ago and felt good as many times it was over $200. I made the money back really quick but was already still using house money at that time since I bought in somewhat early last week.

Not sure if Iím going to put more in or not. Iím breaking even with what I put in between gas fees and buying the ETH. Fingers crossed with it down, gas fees will go down and then it will start to clim again.

If you want in now is a good time! Pay the fee and gain it back! $500 yesterday would have gotten you 1.5-2 Billion after fees. Right now it will get you 5-7 Billion!

Get after it!!!

EDIT: Gas fee right now is around $250-$300.

$500 transfer will get you 2-4 Billion

No concern here. There are people buying in for thousands of dollars. I heard one story of someone buying in for $45k. They could easily triple up and leave, Nd since this is the beginning, that puts a huge dent in the price. Good time for some with a little cash to go in and buy it.

HODL THE LINE MEN!!!!!!

If you look at the last 500 trades there are big holders selling and then buying in an hour later.

You could also pool your ETH for staking and earn interest.

So When you guys talk about gas prices, does that mean that if you want to invest, say, $500 you actually have to buy $1000 worth of ETH to cover the gas price?
