    Homemade Broadhead Adapter Finalized

Lathe Built Homemade Broadhead Adapter Finalized.

These are total glue on. The adapter glues in the broadhead, and into/over the arrow shaft. It's one solid hook up.

    The adapter is 1" long.

It has a head of 3/8" diameter by 1/4" long with a 45 degree by 1/8" camfer at the opening.

The 5 degree taper is cut in to 11/32, then is 3/4" long.

The 8/32 all thread steel pin is 1-13/16" long, and screws into the small end of the adapter 1/8" deep, and secured with JB-Weld.

It is dead on the target weight of 80 grains.

The .002" glue gap was filled with teflon tape for the spin test, and the test done with a Jerry Hill - Killer broadhead.

These aren't the vintage ones though.

They are a spin off the original Howard Hills, but built, and sold by Jerry Hill with better materials, and precision machining. They do a darn good job too.
