Got back from Kansas on Sunday after a week of hard hunting. Roller-coaster of a trip to say the least, but I finally was able to put the pieces together on a really cool old buck on Saturday morning.
He followed in a doe, crossed behind my tree that my saddle was in, and gave me a nice 20-ish yard shot that I was fortunate enough to make count. He ran about 25 yards, stood there for a second, went down into the creek, and fell over dead in sight. Videoed all the hunts, and it should be on Bowhunt Or Die in the next few weeks.
Here are some pics in the meantime! It's been a good year.
