We hunt south of town. Was pretty dry the last time we were there in April. Put out two tons of protein and filled the corn slingers. Won't go back till June or July.

We received about two inches or rain on the ranch 12 south of Menard last week while I was at the NRA Convention and .9" here in town. Most of the country north of Menard got about an inch, not sure about Ft. McKavett. We are in need of good, general rain if we want to see average or above antler growth. Deer are really hitting feeders and if are feeding protein, not sure how much good you are getting unless it is free choice.
Looks like the Weather Channel is giving us a chance of rain for the middle of next week, hope they are right.

First season out that way. Off 190 west of town near Clear Lake. Excited to see what is around. 1000 acres.

We are in the SE corner of the county between London and Hext. We had a good Turkey season and we are excited to see the antler growth start to develop, this is our first year on this lease.

We’ve been covered up in turkey. Seen a few axis as well

We're close...one county over. The whitetails and axis are killing our protein in McCulloch County. We need rain...

We had a good little storm come through a week or so ago but need more as well. Going down this weekend to fill feeders and see if we can get an axis
