    Alf-Alfa hay feeder.

    I don’t have many pictures but thought I would post these pictures of my Alf-Alfa hay feeders.

    I took a 55 gallon drum cut the bottom out of it, then proceeded to weld hog panel “two rungs worth” around the base of the barrel. I did this one tack weld at a time about every four inches using C-Clamps to work the hog panel around the barrel. I then welded a bottom made from hog panel to the existing hog panel on the barrel.

    I think one rung would be better than two but it’s a choice. You then can put the legs on, I purchased mine from Academy or you can build your own.
